Lederer Weston Craig member, Brenda Wallrichs, has been elected as a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel. Brenda is the first Iowa lawyer selected to the ACCEC.
The College is composed of “preeminent coverage and extracontractual counsel in the United States and Canada, representing the interests of insurers and policyholders.” Brenda’s selection is an acknowledgement of her abilities and reputation as an insurance coverage and extracontractual lawyer. She has served as counsel in coverage disputes around the United States involving all manner of coverages and situations. She has also been called upon to submit amicus curiae briefs on behalf of parties and organizations interested in coverage questions before our appellate courts. Brenda is also an accomplished appellate lawyer in matters of general civil litigation.
Brenda is a member of DRI, The Voice of the Defense Bar, where she holds various positions of leadership in the Insurance Law Committee. She is on the steering committee for DRI’s Insurance Roundtable. Brenda is also a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), Iowa Defense Counsel Association (IDCA) and Iowa State Bar Association. She serves on the Risk Management Advisory Committee for the City of Cedar Rapids as well as various charitable organizations. Brenda is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law.
