Allyson Aden was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 2014 after graduating from University of Iowa College of Law. Aden practices law in the areas of trial law, litigation, appellate practice, insurance defense, personal injury, employment law, commercial litigation and product liability.
Aden is a member of the Polk County Bar Association new members committee. Prior to joining Lederer Weston Craig, Aden practiced in the litigation division at a Des Moines law firm for three years. During law school, she served as a clerk for Judge Robiner, 4th Judicial District, in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and represented the State of Iowa in simple misdemeanor criminal trials as a prosecuting intern for the Johnson County Attorney’s Office. Aden was on the copyright team of the Intellectual Property Appellate Advocacy, which achieved national semifinalist status; a student writer for the Journal of Corporation Law; and a member of the Pro Bono Society. Aden earned the Boyd Service Award for her community service and received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in Negotiations.
