Mark J. Parmenter practices law in the areas of civil and commercial litigation; construction, commercial and municipal law; insurance defense; and real estate. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 2003 after earning his J.D. from Drake University Law School the same year. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1993. Parmenter is a member of the American Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, Linn County Bar Association (served as president from 2015-2016), Iowa Defense Counsel Association and Iowa Municipal Attorney’s Association, and he is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy. He was the executive editor of the Drake Law Review in 2003.
