On August 4, 2014, Lederer Weston Craig PLC was appointed the new City Attorney for the City of Springville, Iowa.  Mark Parmenter will serve as the designated City Attorney.  Attorneys Megan Dimitt and Abhay Nadipuram will handle municipal infractions and research other municipal issues as they arise.  LWC currently serves as City Attorney for the cities of Hiawatha, Lisbon, Stanwood and Swisher.  LWC member Mark Parmenter noted, “We are pleased to work with such a vibrant community as Springville.  Springville is strategically located in an important area of development in our region.  It will be exciting for LWC to partner with Springville in their future growth.”  LWC regularly advises municipal clients on planning and zoning issues, land acquisition and development, code interpretation and enforcement, nuisance and abatement, municipal infractions, condemnation, purchase and sale of property, contract review and preparation—including employment contracts, employment and human resource issues, litigation and traffic enforcement.  The City of Springville is located in Linn County, Iowa just east  of Marion on Highway 151.
