Kim Hardeman was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers at the ACTL Spring Meeting in Tucson, Arizona on March 7. Kim’s selection followed a rigorous screening process that evaluated her career as a trial lawyer and included the opinions of the judges and lawyers with whom she has worked. Fellowship in the College is limited to only 1% of the lawyers practicing in the United States and Canada.
Kim has been and continues to serve as a member and leader in many professional groups. She is a member of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, Past President of the Iowa Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates, Past President of the Iowa County Bar Association, a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, Iowa Defense Counsel Association, Linn County Bar Association and a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) where she is actively involved in the Women in the Law Committee. Kim is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), where she is a state membership chair and where she was previously selected to serve as an instructor at the IADC Trial Academy in 2013 at Stanford University.
Kim practices in the areas of commercial litigation and professional liability, transportation, civil litigation, personal injury litigation and products liability.
