Mike Weston is a founding member of Lederer Weston Craig, PLC. Mike is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, the International Association of Defense and Corporate Counsel, the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, ABOTA and a Fellow of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers. Mike has been recognized by Chamber USA for Business in Band 1, the highest rating in Insurance Litigation. He has also been recognized as a Great Plains and Iowa Super Lawyer.

Mike has been privileged to hold several bar leadership positions including the presidencies of DRI, The Voice of The Defense, Lawyers for Civil Justice,  National Foundation for Judicial Excellence, Iowa Defense Counsel Association and Linn County Bar Association. He has also served as a Governor on the Board of the Iowa State Bar Association.  He has also been involved in civic and economic development activities.  Mike is a Past Board Chair of the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce and past member of the Board of Priority One. Mike has also been involved in many other boards, commissions and activities Mike has been a frequent speaker on substantive legal topics and the business of law and has facilitated workshops and retreats on leadership and long-range planning.
